For our first true open call, Make Studio invited artists who identify as invisibly disabled, and/or allies who wished to reflect on the theme, to submit work for this exhibition aimed at honoring and bringing awareness to experiences of invisible disability. The result is a dynamic and multi-faceted group exhibition including 2-D, 3-D, and performance based works, created by 15 artists in different phases of their arts practices, and featuring narratives by a selection of the artists, which delve deeper into their experiences.
