How I Think About Art: A Summer Intern’s View on the Studio

We were so pleased to have had rising Baltimore City Senior Robin/Elliot O’Maonaigh with us this summer via the Bloomberg Arts Internship program! Last night they gave their culminating presentation (which these slides are excerpted from), documenting their intern’s view on the studio acquired through close observation of our artists’ practices done in tandem with building their own portfolio and supporting our studio milieu. Dasha also mentioned, “good lighting, good working conditions, and a welcoming space.” Louis is a big fan of the small details. He remarked we need to have a doorbell, because “it lets us know when the people come.”
